Follow live as SpaceX targets 6:59 a.m. EDT Wednesday, May 18, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Packed in the payload fairing are 53 Starlink internet satellites, marking the company’s 48th launch for the constellation so far. Pad 39A will host.
Falcon 9 will fly toward the northeast and, about nine minutes later, target a drone ship landing in the Atlantic Ocean.
