TDP workshop: Become a TDP power user from your terminal

The TDP CLI is used to deploy and run your TDP services. It relies on tdp-lib to deliver command and versatility at your fingertips.

Some time back, we announced the public release of TDP – Trunk Data Platform – the 100% open up source huge information system centered on the Hadoop ecosystem from the TOSIT affiliation. The opening of TDP marks for us another step towards its aims: a 100% open-resource platform, freely accessible, with shared governance.

Nevertheless, TDP is a complicated challenge, divided into numerous repositories, with a lot of actors concerned. Earning its a variety of repositories general public is not sufficient to allow the group to commit in it.

Adaltas is at the initiative of the platform’s enhancement along with EDF and DGFIP. Thus, in parallel to the documentation do the job we are executing, we propose a collection of workshops to share our practical experience with the neighborhood.

This very first workshop is focused to the TDP CLI, with the adhering to objectives:

• Comprehending the location of tdp-lib in the TDP architecture
• Setting up tdp-lib and obtaining commenced with the CLI
• Configuring and controlling variables
• Deploying parts and clusters
• Querying informations from past deployments.
